Starting a Minor Ailment in MedEssist

Learn how to send patients a link to complete a minor ailment assessment via text or email.

1. From your dashboard sidebar, click "Schedule"

2. Click "New" in the top-right corner. Click "Registration".stack_animation-2

3. Click 'Select a Service' and select the "Minor Ailments and Conditions" option.

Alert: Don't see 'Minor Ailments and Conditions'? Ensure minor ailments are enabled in Settings > Assessments & Consults > Minor Ailments

4. Select the condition you're assessing for.

Alert: Don't see the condition you're looking for? Ensure it's enabled in Settings > Assessments & Consults > Minor Ailments: Select Ailments & Conditions

5. Once the correct condition is selected, click 'Search Patient' to search from your imported patient list, or click "Text/Email Link" to enter the patient's phone or email manually.
